The gentleman who constructed this cross and the cross in the Easter Sunday photograph has since passed away. His wife asked me to make photographs for her.
I made this photograph the old fashion way, with film and then printed it in my darkroom. I then scanned the photograph and added the text in Photoshop.
While my wife and I were admiring the view at one of the many spectacular overlooks, we happened upon a college professor explaining to a student how it took a little water millions of years for all of this erosion to occur.
